This year’s Fall Fundraiser brings our community together around one of the most important resources we share: the soil beneath our feet. The evening will feature a panel conversation with leaders in soil health, regenerative agriculture, permaculture, desert food production, and human health—bringing different perspectives to one central question: what becomes possible when we begin with healthy soil?

The Party Favers will guide us through the evening, bringing their energy, humor, and personality to the farm while keeping the conversation and program moving.

Dinner by Little Joe’s Italian Market

Dinner will be catered by Little Joe’s Italian Market in Gilbert, giving guests a chance to share a meal together before settling in for an evening of conversation and connection.

Our featured panel brings together people whose work spans soil biology, regenerative agriculture, permaculture, desert food production, water conservation, and human health.

Together, they’ll explore what becomes possible when we stop treating soil simply as dirt and begin recognizing it as a living resource—the foundation of the food we grow, the water we conserve, and the communities we nourish.

Co-Founder, Soil Saviors

Pat Miletich is a UFC Hall of Famer, lifelong outdoorsman, and co-founder of Soil Saviors, a movement focused on restoring soil health and helping people grow nutrient-dense food naturally.

After decades studying performance, nutrition, and environmental health, Pat became deeply focused on the connection between living soil, nutrient density, and human health. His work now centers on teaching gardeners, homesteaders, and families how to rebuild soil biology and grow healthier food without relying on synthetic chemicals.

Through Soil Saviors, Pat helps people restore degraded soil using practical biology-based systems for productive gardens, orchards, and food forests.

Patrick “The Soil King” King

Soil & Cultivation Consultant · Regenerative Agriculture Educator

Patrick King, known as “The Soil King,” is a soil and cultivation consultant, regenerative agriculture expert, and educator with more than 25 years of experience in soil health and sustainable farming.

His work focuses on building healthier soils through biology, high-quality compost, regenerative practices, and smarter water management. His experience spans traditional agriculture and specialty crops, with practical programs designed to improve soil structure, plant resilience, water efficiency, and crop performance.

Patrick created Big Rootz soil and Soil King Approved Products and is also a founding council member of The Ganjier. Through consulting, education, field trials, and speaking engagements, he continues to advocate for cleaner agriculture that protects the soil, the farmer, the consumer, and the environment.

Clint Culberson

Clint Culberson

Co-Owner, Galaxy Gardens

Clint Culberson is co-owner of Galaxy Gardens in the Phoenix Valley. After nearly two decades working in traditional landscaping at both the entrepreneurial and corporate levels, Clint discovered permaculture design and began rethinking how landscapes could function in the desert.

In 2019, Galaxy Gardens was created to bring those principles to homes and schools throughout the Valley.

Clint’s work specializes in rainwater harvesting, home-scale food production, native plant ecosystems, and creating landscapes designed to withstand the realities of Arizona’s dry climate.

Mark Rhine

Mark Rhine

Regenerative Organic Farmer · Founder of RhibaFarms

Mark Rhine is a regenerative organic farmer and founder of RhibaFarms in San Tan Valley, Arizona. What began with growing wheatgrass in a small greenhouse more than 15 years ago developed into a diversified farm focused on nutrient-dense food, healthy soil, and regenerative growing practices.

Today, Mark’s work incorporates on-farm composting, integrated livestock, aquaponics, specialty crops, mushrooms, and other methods designed to build soil health while producing food in Arizona’s challenging desert environment.

His work has increasingly focused on education and strengthening the connection between farmers and their communities. Through Rogue Rhino Gardens, the Rogue Rhino Foundation, and Rogue Rhino Academy, Mark works to help people better understand where their food comes from, how it is grown, and why healthy local agriculture matters.
